Two weeks ago we kicked off with The One Where You Begin. Last week you met Ross, your Researcher Agent, the one who digs deep and helps you understand the bigger picture.

This week it’s time for another character to step into the spotlight.

Meet Monica.

In Friends, Monica is the detail queen. She can’t stand chaos. She needs order. She’s the one scrubbing, organising, colour-coding, making sure everything is in place. Sometimes intense, sometimes a little too much — but always the one who brings clarity.

Inside Copilot, Monica is your Analyst Agent.

Why you need Monica

If Ross helps you collect information, Monica makes sure that information makes sense. She doesn’t just give you data, she highlights patterns. She doesn’t just echo your notes, she transforms them into something you can actually use.

Think about the messy Excel export from last month, the long list of survey answers, or the brainstorm notes that look more like chaos than strategy. Monica steps in, takes that pile of unstructured input, and turns it into clear insights.

Where to find Monica

You don’t need to worry about model versions.. Microsoft keeps Copilot updated with the latest under the hood. What matters is this: open Copilot Chat, go to Agents, and search for Analyst Agent. Add or pin Monica so she’s always close at hand. Once she’s part of your cast, you can call on her in any conversation where things feel messy or overwhelming.

How Monica helps you

Imagine you’ve got fifty lines of raw customer feedback. Monica can read them all and group the recurring themes, highlight the positives versus the negatives, and give you three clear recommendations for next steps.

Or picture yourself staring at rows of sales data. Monica can point out where performance is strong, where the gaps are, and what trends you should care about.

Or think about a project plan where the risks and dependencies are all buried in scattered notes. Monica can structure them into a table you can actually act on.

That is Monica’s gift: she takes what feels overwhelming and organises it into something you can use.

How to work with Monica

To get the best from Monica, give her context. Don’t just say “analyse this”. Tell her what the information is, who it’s for, and what kind of output you need. Ask her to cluster, to highlight, to prioritise.

The more specific you are about the format a table, a summary with three key points, a top-5 risk list the more valuable her answers will be. Monica loves structure, so feed her structure in your questions.

What’s next?

With Monica in your cast, you stop drowning in data and start finding clarity. She is the one who takes messy input and turns it into actionable insights.

Next week we’ll meet Joey. The one who keeps things simple, natural, and human. In Copilot, that’s the magic of Voice.

Join the journey

The Friends Copilot Starter Kit continues week by week. Each time, a new character. Each time, a new habit that helps you make Copilot part of your daily flow.

Because just like in Friends, the best moments happen when the whole cast comes togheter. 😉✨
